PROGRAMS, TOOLS & RESOURCES FOR EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE

The SNVCC aims to help local corporations in different industry sectors staff their operations with some of our community's best leadership talent: our military veterans. Employment candidates from our veteran community bring uniquely valuable leadership traits and work habits to the industries in our community's workforce, but sometimes the details of military duty can be a challenge to translate into a professional resume in the corporate sector. The SNVCC wants to help build greater relationships with business and veterans in our community through local Skillsbridge opportunities, as well as building a career-trnsition skillset for our veterans in the community via outsourced tools for improved resume-building skills, building a professional social media presence, job-interview skills, and promoting executive mentorships with our various national partners to ensure that the military transition leads to a professional fit that will last and maintain a sense of long-term job fullfillment for the military member of military spouse.
